Włoszczowa – Sekunda Retail Park – construction has started!
Construction work has begun on the largest retail park in the region, Sekunda, in Włoszczowa. The general contractor for the works is Daldehog Poland.
The facility with an area of 12,000 sq m. GLA will provide residents of Włoszczowa and the surrounding area with modern retail and service space. There will be around 100,000 potential customers within its catchment area. The supermarket will be Lidl, which will open its store in the latest concept. The Retail Park will offer around 25 stores of popular brands - fashion, footwear, drugstores, electronics and household appliances, interior design, services, catering and others. A parking lot with nearly 420 spaces will be available to customers.
- The commencement of construction gives our tenants and partners a guarantee that the investment will be implemented according to the assumed plan. The residents of Włoszczowa are eagerly awaiting the opening of the facility, which will become an important point on the city's commercial map. This is yet another facility of our developer, who gained experience in the implementation of the Sekunda shopping center in nearby Jędrzejów, which was very well received by customers. We would like to implement a similar, perfectly proven concept in Włoszczowa and create an equally attractive shopping and service zone for the residents of Włoszczowa and the surrounding area - says Ewa Ściubidło, Vice President of the Management Board of Mallson Polska, the company responsible for the commercialization of the facility.
Sekunda Retail Park will be located at Wiśniowa Street, near the junction of the new city bypass on the DW 786 road. There are housing estates nearby, and the construction of further multi-family buildings is underway: Wiśniowa Park and Apartamenty Włoszczowa. The opening of the retail park is planned for the first half of 2026.
The chain of retail facilities under the Sekunda brand is to eventually include 10 projects. Apart from Włoszczowa - work is already underway on further retail parks. The name, decor and architectural concept of the facilities refer to the characteristic motif of Jędrzejów - a clock, and it is in Jędrzejów that the investor's headquarters is located and the first facility of this chain - Galeria Sekunda - operates there. Commissioned in 2021, on an area of over 13 thousand sq m of retail space, it offers many of the most popular clothing, footwear and service chains such as: Sinsay, CCC, Martes Sport, Pepco, Jysk, Empik, Action, TEDi, KiK, Media Expert, Smyk, Rossmann, Vision Express, Kakadu, Big Star, Kaes, Yes, Inmedio and Diverse. The food operator is Lidl, which debuted by opening its store in this region. The facility's parking lot holds 340 cars.
The investor of Sekunda projects is an experienced developer in residential and commercial construction - Quantum. The architectural design of the Włoszczowa project was developed by BPB from Kielce, and Mallson Polska is responsible for the commercial concept and lease.
