Mallson Polska: we appreciate long-term relationships with tenants
Mallson Polska is effectively preparing commercialization strategies, advising in renting galleries and retail parks. The company currently implements dozens of projects from a wide portfolio of facilities, including Galeria Wiślanka in Żory or Sekunda Shopping Center in Jędrzejów.
- For over 10 years, we have created concepts for commercial projects and commercialization strategies. We assess the potential of location and economic legitimacy. We support developers throughout the entire project implementation process to create a product tailored to market requirements. In the initial stage of the project, our commercialization strategy is based on the confirmation of key tenants that guarantee a strong position of the facility in the city. We work with a group of permanent network tenants with whom we have developed relationships for years that have trusted us and are eager to grow in facilities we implement - says Ewa Ściubidło, vice president of Mallson Polska.
Mallson commercializes the Wiślanka Gallery in Żory. What is the difference between this gallery and other objects?
Żory is a city of over 60,000 inhabitants with very good development rates and a very low unemployment rate - well below the average and far below the regional average - and still without a shopping mall. The city's recreational and tourist offer is rich, including next to the very popular Western Twinpigs Entertainment Park, Aquarion Water Park - Żory also offers the Fire Museum attracting customers from all over the region. Galeria Wiślanka - the only shopping and entertainment center in this city, comprehensively completes the recreation and entertainment part of the city. The center will open in the second half of 2020. On the surface of approx. 20 thousand sqm. GLA will find around 80 stores of the most popular brands, service and catering points as well as the popular Lidl grocery discount. The facility will have a parking lot for 600 places. Due to the large interest in the project, in the meantime Galeria Wiślanka has been redesigned and significantly enlarged to the present size. The complex will house the long-awaited first in the city multi-screen cinema according to the latest concept of the Helios network, the gallery will also be enriched with additional space for entertainment and recreation. Customers will be able to take advantage of the fashion offer, convenient parking, leisure zones, as well as a diverse gastronomic offer.
What amenities will the Wiślanka Gallery offer for families?
It will be the first new generation shopping mall in the city, family-friendly, offering facilities for families with children, such as: children's zone in the food court (furniture, toys, microwave for heating products dedicated to children), rockers, children's seats on the holiday islands in the passage and in the sanitary part of the room fulfilling the function of baby care (the rooms will be equipped with a changing table, a washbasin, a washbasin for a child, a toilet for a child or an armchair for breastfeeding mothers). A professional playground will be launched for the youngest customers and additionally there will be a separate and safe zone for children on the arcade, which will make the youngest time pleasant and will be conducive to creating a pleasant shopping atmosphere. In addition to the entertainment zone with a professional multiplex cinema, a comfortable, modern fitness zone is planned - says Ewa Ściubidło, Vice President of Mallson Polska.
Galeria Wiślanka is being built in a unique location: at the main intersection of the provincial road No. 935 and the national road No. 81 with high traffic, leading from Katowice to the Beskidy Mountains, colloquially called "Wiślanka". The excellent location of the investment will provide customers from all over the region with quick access to the facility. The commercial attractiveness of the area will be enhanced by the offers of the nearby Auchan hypermarket shopping zone, DYI Leroy Merlin supermarket, Decathlon sports network and Mc Donald's and KFC restaurants. At the end of 2018, the building obtained a valid building permit, we are about to start construction soon - she adds.
Jędrzejów will gain a new Sekunda Shopping Center. This is another investment that has enriched your portfolio.
The Sekunda Shopping Center will be the first and only investment in the city that will provide residents of Jędrzejów and the surrounding area with a modern retail and service space with comfortable car parks. An investment with an area of 13,000 sqm. GLA will offer around 40 stores and parking for over 300 places. The opening was planned for the first half of 2021. We plan tenants of all popular industries, including sports, fashion, footwear, chemist's, RTV / home appliances, catering as well as a major food operator on the market. In the zone of its reach there will be over 100,000 potential customers. The shopping and service complex has been divided into a gallery and a retail park. The center is located near housing estates, a city park, the Naprzód Jędrzejów Sports Club stadium and the PKS bus station.
