In the near future in Oświęcim will gain more modern commercial space. Preparations are underway for the implementation of the project of a new retail park, which will be implemented along the national road no. DK 44 with heavy traffic - in the vicinity of the Biedronka grocery store. Over 5,000 sq m GLA will operate approximately 20 commercial premises and a car park offering approx. 140 parking spaces.

Oświęcim generates a huge movement of tourists, using the accommodation, shopping and restaurant base of the city. A large number of comfortable parking spaces for coaches will be created next to the facility, which will also ensure a large turnout of tourists and people visiting the grounds of the Auschwitz Camp, located just 1 km away. Therefore, the location will cover, apart from the clients of nearby settlements and cities, also over 2 million tourists crossing the Zator - Tychy national road. An additional advantage of the location is the location near the shaft running along the Soła River, where there is a popular bike and walk path. Therefore, the element of the retail park will be the construction of a station for bicycle traffic and two restaurants with a view and relax zone. The opening of the facility is planned for the turn of 2020/2021.
