Wiślanka with the only multiplex cinema in Żory!
The network of Helios cinemas belonging to the Agora Group will move into Galeria Wiślanka in Żory next year. On the surface of approximately 1,500 sq m. the first multi-screen cinema in the city will be built.
Helios is the largest cinema chain in Poland in terms of the number of facilities. It has 45 multiplexes with 257 screens and over 50,000. seats. The network develops its activity mainly in small and medium-sized cities, but it is also present in the largest agglomerations in Poland - including in Gdansk, Lodz, Wroclaw, Poznan and soon also in Warsaw. The cinema in Żory will offer guests four fully modern, air-conditioned cinema halls with a cinema bar with a total of 650 seats.
Galeria Wiślanka is being built at the main intersection of the provincial road No. 935 (being a part of the city beltway reaching the A1 motorway) and the national road No. 81, leading from Katowice to the Beskidy Mountains, colloquially called "Wiślanka". The Auchan hypermarket, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon and McDonald's and KFC restaurants are in the immediate vicinity.
At nearly 20,000 sq m, the lease area will include almost 80 stores of the most popular brands, service and food outlets, and the Lidl grocery discount store. 600 parking spaces will be available to motorized customers.
